Mulberry Lavender [SSC]
The key to using lavender in recipes is a light hand--adding just a little creates a gorgeous pop of flavor, while too much makes a drink taste soapy. you can purchase culinary lavender at specialty food stores, but use it fresh if you have it growing in your yard (just remove the stems and green parts first). If you include maqui berry powder in this recipe, the smoothie will not only taste like lavender, but look the part, too.

¼ cupraw cashews
1 ½ cupsunsweetened almond milk
¼ cupsoft silken tofu
1 tablespoonchia seeds

Blend all the ingredients together until smooth. Taste, and blend in sweetener as desired.
