Instructions

Step 1
Slice the figs and onions.
Step 2
Heat the oil in the pan. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the onions and sauté for about 2-3min until cleare.
Step 3
Now add the vinegar and red whine. Mix and let reduce for 1min. Then add the figs season with salt, pepper, sugar and mix again.
Step 4
Reduce the heat to low. Place on the lid and let it simmer for 15min.

Sandwich

Step 5
Cut the bread in half. Spread both sides with butter. Toast until golden brown.
Step 6
Spread the bottom half with honey.
Step 7
Dice the feta cheese and chop the hazelnuts.
Step 8
Top the bread with the arugula, fig chutney and feta cheese. Sprinkle on the hazelnuts.
Step 9
Stack the other half on top and enjoy!
