Instructions
Step 1
Cut tops off peppers & discard; remove seeds. Blanch peppers in boiling water (5 min.). Drain & rinse in cold water; set aside.
Step 2
In bowl, combine beef, 1/4C tomato sauce, rice, 2T cheese, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, & egg; mix well. Stuff peppers; place in ungreased 1 1/2 qt. baking dish.
Preheat oven to 350°
Step 3
Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers. Cover & bake (45-60 min.) until meat is no longer pink & peppers are tender.
Step 4
Sprinkle with remaining cheese; return to oven (5 min.) until cheese is melted.
