Instructions
Step 1
Blend the canned tomatoes and set aside (fill up the empty can halfway with water and swirl it around to make sure you get all of the tomato).
Step 2
Sweat the onions in olive oil. Add the garlic and chilli flakes and cook until fragrant.
Step 3
Add the canned tomatoes. Simmer for 45min, uncovered.
Step 4
Start a pot of water to boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions
Step 5
Add the butter, basil and cheese. Mix well.
Step 6
Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add pasta and serve.
