For The Teriyaki Sauce
Instructions
Step 1
In a medium saucepan over a medium heat place all the "teriyaki sauce" ingredients and bring to boil. Leave to boil foe about 1 minute then remove from the heat.
Step 2
Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker, season and add the sauce
Step 3
Cook on low for 6 hours
Step 4
Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred with two forks, leaving large pieces.
Step 5
Return chicken to slow cooker and stir with the sauce well. Make sure you cover all the chicken with the sauce.
Step 6
Can be served as a sandwich or with rice
