For the sauce
Instructions
Step 1
1. Put the egg noodles in a large heatproof bowl and pour over boiling water to cover. Stir to separate the noodles and set aside, covered with a plate, to let them soften.
Step 2
2. Meanwhile, make the sauce. Mix the cornflour with the hoisin sauce in a small jug or bowl until smooth. Add the remaining sauce ingredients and set aside.
Step 3
3. Heat the oil in a large, deep frying pan over a high heat.
Step 4
Add the turkey, sprinkle over the 5-spice to coat and fry for 3-5 minutes, until lightly golden.
Step 5
4. Add the sugar snap peas and cabbage and fry for a further 3-5 minutes, until everything is cooked through.
Step 6
5. Pour the sauce over the turkey and vegetables and allow to bubble for 5 minutes, until thickened, then turn off the heat.
Step 7
6. Check that the noodles are cooked, then drain and add to the pan. Toss until everything is combined. Serve in bowls with extra soy sauce, if you like.
