Instructions
Step 1
To make the cabbage rice, add butter, sliced garlic, and diced cabbage to pot, cook on medium-low heat, stirring occasionally until the cabbage caramelizes (turns brown on edges). Then add the cooked jasmine rice and mix thoroughly.
Step 2
In a bowl, whisk together the corn starch, beef stock and seasonings.
Step 3
In a separate pan or griddle, fry the hamburgers with the butter until desired doneness.
Step 4
Remove the patties and place on separate plate. Pour the beef stock mixture into pan and whisk over medium heat. Continue mixing until gravy starts to thicken.
Step 5
In a separate pan, fry the eggs sunny side style.
Step 6
Plate the loco moco with fried cabbage rice, hamburger, gravy, and fried egg. Enjoy with a side salad!
