2 Tbspsesame oil

⅓ cupsoy sauce
organic

½ cupchicken broth
or vegetable

2 tsprice wine vinegar

1 tspginger
grated, or 1/4 tsp dry ginger

2cloves garlic
minced

red pepper flakes

1 poundlean ground pork

2 ½ tspChinese five spice

1 cupscallions
diced, white and green parts separated

2carrots
medium, peeled, shredded

3 cupsgreen cabbage
shredded, or purple
Instructions
Step 1
Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground pork, Chinese five spice, and s&p to taste.. Cook for about 10 minutes, tossing occasionally, until cooked through.
Step 2
Meanwhile, whisk together the soy sauce, chicken broth, rice vinegar, ginger, half the garlic, and red chili peppers in a small bowl and set aside.
Step 3
Add the garlic and white parts of the scallions and cook for 2 minutes or until onions soften.
Step 4
Add the carrots, cabbage, and toss well, letting cook for 3 minutes or until vegetable soften.
Step 5
Add the prepared sauce and toss until combined and warm.
Step 6
Serve over black rice, garnished with the green parts of the scallions.
