Green Chili Chicken Quesadilla
Green chili chicken quesadilla is made with my homemade Verde salsa and shredded chicken breast and with hot melted Cheddar and Monterey Jack blend cheese on flour tortillas.

Ingredients

3chicken breast
cooked and shredded
flour tortillas
Medium size
Shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese blend
1 lbFresh Tamatillos
8jalapenos
Give or take a few depending on how spicy you like your salsa
2garlic cloves
½ cupchicken broth
0.5onion
medium
½ cupfresh cilantro
stems, included, I usually just get a small handful with stems
½ teaspoonssea salt
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and rinse Tomatillas
Step 2
Cut ends of jalapenos off
Step 3
Put Tomatillas, jalapenos, onions on baking sheet and broil until roasted, flip and do same on both sides
Step 4
After vegetables cooled add to blender including juice along with garlic, cilantro and chicken broth and blend until smooth
Step 5
Add salsa to shredded chicken and cook at medium temperature about 20 minutes
Step 6
Spray pan with nonstick spray
Step 7
Add flour tortillas first layer of cheese mixture, next layer of green chilli chicken, and one more layer of cheese mixture
Step 8
Flip both sides until you reach your desired texture
