Instructions
French Toast
Step 1
PreHeat a Large Skillet to Medium high heat, adding butter to pan if desired.
Step 2
In a Medium Sized Bowl, combine heavy cream, egg, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, 2Tbs of melted butter, maple syrup, and half of the monkfruit sweetner. Whisk ingredients together.
Step 3
Add individual slices of bread one at a time, to mixture in bowl and let soak for 60 seconds. Ensure that each slice is completely covered in mixture.
Step 4
Immediately transfer soaked slices one at a time to pre-heated skillet. Flip sliced bread on each side until golden brown or until desired crisp.
Step 5
Remove French Toast Slices to serving plate and top with optional sliced bananas, whipped topping, and brown butter caramel sauce.
Caramel Sauce
Step 6
Add remaining butter and monkfruit sweetener to skillet. Add a few drops of vanilla extract to taste if desired, and whisk together in skillet on medium low heat until a gooey brown sauce is achieved.
