Step 1
Bring a large pot of heavily salted water to a boil. Add penne and cook according to package directions. Drain and return to pot. turn off heat

Meanwhile, heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook about 1 minute. Stir in crushed tomatoes and basil. Season with salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Stir in vodka and cook 10 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
