Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the Oven to 425 degrees. This bread is best baked on a stone (preheated), but can be baked on a greased pan (prepare and set aside).
Step 2
1. Mix the dry flours and sugars together
Step 3
Add the butter (cold) and mix until coarsely mixed together - DO NOT OVERMIX.
Step 4
Add the milk and gently knead until just mixed. Then fold in the sunflower seeds.
Step 5
Knead the dough gently until a round ball forms. Flatten the ball to about 1" thick. Lightly score the top with knife into 8 equal triangles.
Step 6
Place on stone or pan and bake for 15 minutes.
Step 7
Once baked, remove from oven, wrap in a towel and serve warm.
