½ cuprice flour
½ cupcorn starch
2 Tbspsoy sauce
1 Tbspminced garlic

General Tsao Chicken Sauce
Instructions
Step 1
Cut chicken thigh into small bite sized pieces. Marinate the chicken with soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, pepper, corn starch, rice flour, soda water, and egg. Rest for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Mix soy sauce, Hoisin Sauce, Honey, minced garlic, freshly grated ginger, rice vinegar, crushed red pepper to create the General Tsao Chicken sauce.
Step 3
Add in oil (enough to cover the chicken) in a pan, and turn the heat to medium-high. Once the oil is hot (test with a chopstick, if it starts to bubble a lot, it is ready for chicken to go in ), add in the chicken and deep fry for 6-7 minutes or until golden brown. Optional: remove the chicken, set aside. Turn the heat up to high, add back in the chicken, and deep fry for 1-2 minutes till crispy.
Step 4
Heat up a bit of cooking oil in a pan, quickly add in sliced dried chili to cook, further add General Tsao Chicken sauce mixture in the pan, and let it simmer on medium heat for a couple of minutes. Combine corn starch with cold water to create a water mixture. Pour in the corn starch mixture into the pan, simmer for another 30 seconds.
Step 5
Add in the crispy chicken, garnish with sliced spring onion and sesame seeds, and toss on high heat for under 1 minute, remove from heat , ready to serve.
