Easy Cilantro Lime Rice

This cilantro lime rice recipe is fool proof for me when I cook it in the rice cooker. You can also cook this on the stovetop but I’ve sometimes burnt the bottom of my rice cooking it in the pan and so I prefer this method.

Instructions

Step 1
I always wash my rice first until the water is clear. Add water (slightly less becaue the onion will release more liquids), chicken bouillon powder, garlic, onions and the bay leaves. Cook the rice on the white rice setting. Once it’s cook, let it sit for about 5 minutes then remove the bay leaves and fluff the rice. Add lime juice and cilantro and mix everything together.
