Instructions
Step 1
1. Cook your pasta (the entire box for the full recipe) with a pinch or two of salt added to the water.
Step 2
2. While that is boiling, brown your sausage with a drizzle of olive oil.
Step 3
3. After the meat is cooked, drain and then sauté for a couple minutes with the minced garlic and red pepper flakes.
Step 4
4. Then add the thawed spinach and two cans of tomatoes and simmer over medium heat for a few minutes to reduce the liquid from the two.
Step 5
5. Add the sausage and spinach mixture to the pasta and combine well.
Step 6
6. You can add the cheese on top just before serving, or add the whole bag to the dish on the stove. I prefer to have it mixed in and then add a little extra on top later. :)
Step 7
7. Stir again over low heat and add another heavy drizzle of olive oil.
