Kurdish Beef biryani
One of my favorite dishes is definitely biryani you can make this with beef, chicken, lamb, veal or keep the meat out and make it vegetarian.
——ingredients——
-2 pounds beef - Cut into bite size pieces then into a pot it goes, cook on high for the first 15 minutes then add
-1 teaspoon of 7 spice
-1 teaspoon of salt
-1 tablespoon of oil
-1 cup of warm water
Cover again and cook on medium to low heat for 40 minutes until the meat is tender and set it aside.

—FRIED INGREDIENTS NEXT—
-4 potatoes ( Peel and cut into bite-size pieces and fry until golden)
-1 cup of peeled almonds fry them until lightly golden
-1 cup of raisins fry them for about 10 seconds just until they puff up
-1 cup of peas fry them for about 20 seconds
:
——RICE——
-2 cups of basmati rice (wash until the water runs clear and soak in warm water for about 30 minutes)
-1/4 cup of oil
-1/2 cup of vermicelli
-1 cinnamon stick
-4 cardamom pods
-1 tablespoon chicken bouillon
-1 tablespoon 7 spice
-1 teaspoon of turmeric
-1 tablespoon salt
-3 cups hot water
——Add oil to the pot let it get hot, then add the vermicelli, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods and fry until the vermicelli is brown.
——Then add the rice make sure you drain it first
——Next add the salt, spices and water
——Mix cover and cook the rice on high heat until the water evaporates then reduce the heat to really low and cook for another 20 minutes.
——after the rice is cooked remove the cinnamon stick
——mix the cooked beef, potatoes, almonds, raisins, peas In with the cooked rice and it’s done enjoy.
