For the chicken
2boneless skinless chicken thighs
cut into small chunks
½ tspginger powder
½ tspgarlic powder
salt
to taste
pepper
to taste
1 tspolive oil
1 Tbspoil
For the bourbon sauce
4garlic gloves
minced
1 Tbspginger
minced
¼ tspred pepper flakes
1 Tbspunsalted butter
½ cupbourbon
1 Tbspapple cider vinegar
1 Tbspsoy sauce
1 tsphoisin sauce
For the corn starch slurry, mix the ingredients below

Instructions
Step 1
In a clean bowl add the chicken and the ingredients listed below

Step 2
Over medium heat add the oil . Once hot add the chicken. Make sure to not overcrowded the pan

Brown the chicken on both sides then set aside. Toss the excess drippings/grease except for 1 Tbsp. Lower the heat. Add the garlic, ginger and red pepper flakes

Sauté until fragrant. Before adding the butter. Melt the butter down then add the bourbon to deglaze.

Step 5
Allow the alcohol to cook before adding the ingredients below. Add back in the chicken. Cover and allow to simmer on low heat.

hoisin sauce1 tsp

corn starch1 spoon
Step 6
Once the sauces begins to thicken, turn off heat. Server over with rice & enjoy.
