Step 1
Rinse and clean Mackerel. Depending on how it was bought, you may need to cut open and pry the stomach.
Step 2
Pan fry, bake, air fry the fish until done.
Step 3
Boil dashi stock (or mix water and hondashi powder). Once boiled, turn down the heat. Mix in miso - it is best to put the paste in a ladle and mix with the soup slowly, otherwise, you risk a chunk of undissolved paste. Add tofu and seaweed at the end
