Easy southern gravy for biscuits and gravy! I can’t promise it’ll be healthy but I can promise it’ll be tasty.

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven for 400

Cook biscuits according to package or make them yourself :)
Step 3
On a skillet over medium high heat, begin cooking your sausage

Add bacon grease to the skillet and continue cooking your sausage until browned and fully cooked
Step 5
Once sausage is cooked, add your flour. Cook for a few minutes until the flour is no longer white
Step 6
Slowly add your milk and heavy cream and mix together
Step 7
Stir occasionally. Bring your gravy to a light simmer, add pepper, and continue cooking until thick. Once thick, turn off the heat
Step 8
Open your cooked biscuits and put gravy on top!
