Filling:

1 lbground chicken
or turkey

1 Tbspoil

0.5onion
diced

1 cupred pepper
or green, diced

2 x 8 ozcans water chestnuts
drained and diced
Sauce:

3 Tbspsoy sauce

3 Tbsphoisin sauce

1 Tbspsesame oil

1 Tbsprice vinegar

1 Tbsppeanut butter

1 Tbsphoney

½ tspgarlic powder

¼ tsppowdered ginger

Instructions
Step 1
Whisk together sauce ingredients until well combined. If you use a firmer peanut butter you may need to microwave the mixture for 30-60 seconds in order to melt it and ensure everything is well-mixed.
Step 2
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan. Once hot, add ground chicken or turkey.
Step 3
Cook until some pieces are starting to brown. Add onion and
cook for 5 minutes or until the onion is becoming translucent.
Step 4
Add the peppers and water chestnuts and cook about 5
minutes or until peppers are becoming soft.
Step 5
Add sauce and simmer on low heat until the chicken and
veggies are evenly coated and everything is heated through.
Step 6
Serve in lettuce leaves, on top of your favorite Asian salad,
or over noodles or rice! One serving = 1/4 of the mixture with sauce.

One serving = 1/4 of the mixture with sauce.
