Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 325° F.
Step 2
In a medium mixing bowl, mix together eggs, sugar, salt, milk, and vanilla.
Step 3
Pour into 4 oven safe custard bowls and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Step 4
Place custard cups in a baking pan with high sides, and fill baking pan with hot water up to the line of custard in the cups. Be careful not to overfill the pan and let the water spill into the custard.
Step 5
Bake for 30-40 minutes, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 6
Serve warm, or cover tightly and refrigerate for up to 7 days and serve cold. Enjoy!
