Salted Caramel Miso Truffles

These delicious truffles are surprisingly low on effort but extremely high on impact when presented as Valentine's or dinner-party gift. The miso adds extra-layer of umami, which really takes the flavour to another level.

Instructions

Step 1
1. Put the chocolate in a large 'heatproof bowl.In a small pan, whisk together the miso and, caramel sauce. Stir in the double cream and butter. Put over a medium heat, until the butter has melted and the mixture starts to steam 'but isn't bubbling at all. Pour it over the chocolate, then leave it for exactly 30 second
Step 2
Using a fork, bowl, start to stir the chocolate in the middle of the bowl, slowly working your way out to, he edges. Keep stirring slowly, until you have a creamy, smooth ganache. Level it out, cover the surface directly with baking parchment and transfer to the fridge to harden (about 2 hours).
Step 3
2 Put the cocoa on a board or plate. Once the ganache is firm, use a teaspoon to scoop up a little of it, then roll it into a ball and dust in the cocoa until fully coated. Transfer to or plate and repeat until all the ganache is used up. Pop the tray the fridge until set (about 2 hours). then serve or gift as you wish. These truffles will keep chilled for up to 5 days,
