Instructions

Step 1
In a large saucepan, combine potatoes, chicken broth, carrots, and onions. Bring to a boil.
Step 2
Once boiling, reduce heat, cover, and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender. Stir occasionally.
Step 3
In a separate saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour and whisk until a smooth paste forms. Add in salt and pepper. Gradually stir in milk. Cook until sauce begins to thicken.
Step 4
Add sauce into the soup mix and stir until combined. Add in ham, corn, and cheese, stirring until all the cheese is melted.
