Instructions
Step 1
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Knead the ingredients inside the bowl until a ball of dough forms.
Step 2
Knead the dough on a floured work surface (counter) until the ball of dough becomes more smooth.
Step 3
Put the dough back in the bowl, cover with plastic wrap or a slightly dampened bread towel, and let rise for at least 1 hour.
Step 4
Remove the dough from the bowl and separate into several small balls of roughly equal size. Roll each smaller ball out to form the flatbreads. Brush with oil or butter and pan fry. Cook on a hot cast iron pan on both sides, until you see a bit of brown.
Step 5
Add optional seasonings - olive oil or butter, garlic, salt, parsley, for example. Enjoy!
