Instructions
Step 1
Heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the diced onions, celery and carrots and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 2
Add the pork and veal mince to the saucepan and stir until combined.
Step 3
Add the diced tomatoes, rosemary, thyme and the Shiraz minus 1 glass to the saucepan. Stir until combined.
Step 4
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover the saucepan with a lid and simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
While the meat sauce is simmering, prepare the cheesy white sauce.
Step 6
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Step 7
Stir in the flour and whisk until the mixture is smooth.
Step 8
Add the milk and continue to whisk until the mixture is smooth and thickened.
Step 9
When the sauce is nearly boiling, add the pizza cheese and stir until melted.
Step 10
Remove the rosemary stems from the meat sauce and discard.
Step 11
To assemble the lasagne, start by spreading a layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a large baking dish.
Step 12
Add a layer of lasagne sheets on top of the meat sauce.
Step 13
Repeat the layers of meat sauce, cheese sauce and lasagne sheets until all the meat sauce is used up.
Step 14
Pour the cheesy white sauce over the top of the lasagne.
Step 15
Bake in your air fryer on the Bake setting 180C 30 minutes.
Step 16
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the lasagne is golden brown and the cheesy white sauce is bubbling.
Step 17
Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before serving or it will be a yummy sloppy mess on your plate. Enjoy!
