These CRUMBL inspired Kentucky butter cake cookie are the best butter cookies you'll ever make! They are melt in your mouth delicious, topped with a smooth butter sauce and sprinkled with powdered sugar.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350Β°F
Step 1
Line baking sheet with parchement paper; set aside.
Step 2
Cream butter & sugars together; egg & vanilla; mix again to combine.
Step 3
Add in flour, baking powder, & salt; mix until the flour mixture disappears.
Step 4
Scoop out 6 equally-sized cookie dough balls; rolling between palms of hands. Place them on baking sheet; gently press them down to about 1/2β thickness.

Bake (10 min.)
Butter Sauce
Step 6
While cookie bake, melt butter, powdered sugar, water, & vanilla in sm. saucepan over med.-low. Continuously stir mixture until sugar is fully dissolved. (Make sure not to boil butter sauce.)
Step 7
Remove pan from stove top; allow to it sit (5 min.) to thicken a little.
Step 8
Using pastry brush, brush each warm cookie with butter sauce; top with light sprinkle of powdered sugar once glaze has set. Enjoy.
