Passover Pizza

Unfortunately, I did not notate the title of the cookbook I got this recipe from, but it was an old Passover Cookbook. This is another recipe I make at least once during Passover. It is a big hit with everyone, and in my opinion, it is much better than the Passover pizza mixes you buy commercially. I have made this with the sardines, and it was very good, but I do prefer it without. The original recipe does call for them. ~Marilyn Sultar

Instructions

MSS NOTE: I use mozzarella cheese.

Step 1
Spread butter over the matzoh.
Step 2
Spread a thick layer of tomato paste to cover.
Step 3
Cover the entire matzoh with cheese (leaving the edges without the cheese so you won’t have a mess ~Marilyn)
Step 4
Cut the sardines in half and place on pizza in a sunburst pattern.
Step 5
Sliced the tomatoes. Cover the sardines with the tomatoes slices.
Step 6
Bake in a preheated 325 degree F. oven until cheese melts, then broil till the cheese gets a bit browned.
