3 steps

There is no food quite as comforting as beef dumplings . Wether they are simply boiled and served with sour cream or taken to the next level by frying with butter . All equally delicious and oh so satisfying

Instructions
Step 1
In a large bowl add the flour then using a measuring cup crack in an egg and beat it with a fork . Add 1 tsp salt 1 tsp vegetable oil the. Fill the rest with warm water and mix. Add to the flour then. I’d to form a dough . Knead until smooth then cover and rest 30 minutes

Step 2
Use a processor or a knife to very finely chop 3 cloves garlic and one large onion then add to a bowl with ground beef salt and pepper . Mix the meat with your hands until it becomes slightly sticky .

Step 3
Roll out the dough quite thin on a lightly floured surface then use a cutter to cut circles . Place a teaspoon of the meat mixture in each one then fold over pinching the middle then the sides from outwards to the middle . Fold the sides over each other then repeat with the rest. Boil water then place the dumplings in the pot and cook about 5 minutes or until they float . Optional step but I like to also fry mine in some butter and then Serve with sour cream chopped scallions and more pepper
