Homemade pizza dough

Instructions

Step 1
1) Combine water, sugar, and yeast. Allow to foam up - about 5 minutes.
2) Mix flours and salt in a heavy duty bowl or stand mixer fitted with a dough hook.
3) Add oil to yeast mixture. Pour yeast mixture into flour mixture and knead on low speed for 10 minutes. Dough will be elastic and lightly sticky.
4) Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl, turning to coat.
5) Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for an hour. Punch dough down and divide into 3 pieces.
6) Shape into balls and place on floured work surface. Brush with oil and cover with plastic wrap for 45 minutes.
7) Shape into thin layer on pizza stone and add sauce, cheese, etc. and bake at 425 for 12-14 minutes depending on toppings. Original recipe makes three 10 inch pizzas.
