Instructions

Step 1
In large pot combine squash, onion, apple and broth. Cover pot and bring to a boil. Uncover pot, reduce heat to low and simmer until squash is soft, about 10 minutes.
Step 2
Purée soup with immersion blender (can use regular blender, allow soup to cool first) leaving small chunks of squash. Season with spices.
Step 3
For a creamier soup add heavy cream with the spices. This will greatly impact the health score.
