Instructions

Sauteed onions

Step 1
Cut the onion into thin slices. Heat the oil in the pan. Reduce the heat to medium

Add the onions and fry until they are translucent. Season with pepper. Then drizzle on the honey and let the onions caramelize, stirring occasionally.

Sauce

Step 3
To a bowl add the tartare sauce, mustard, lemon juice, pepper and cayenne pepper. Mix until well combined.

Sandwich

Step 4
Cut the bread in half. Spread both halves with butter. Toast until golden brown.
Step 5
Slice the tomato and pickle.
Step 6
Spread the bottom half of the bread with the sauce. Place the salad, tomato and pickle slices on top.
Step 7
Then place the pastrami slices and emmental cheese on top. Melt the cheese with a blowtorch.
Step 8
Finish with the sautéed onions.
Step 9
Stack the other bread half on top and enjoy!
