Instructions

Step 1
Cook turkey in skillet with olive oil and all the spices to taste ( wait to add salt until turkey has browned as this can inhibit the browning process. Remove turkey from skillet
Step 2
Dice all your veggies and add to skillet (besides spinach). Add garlic powder, salt, and can of tomatoes/ chilies after the onions have turned translucent.
Step 3
In a rice cooker, add your rice, better than bullion, and bay leaf. Cook according to rice.
Step 4
Add spinach to the skillet, cook until wilted. Add in the garbanzo beans and cooked ground turkey. Mix well then add the cream cheese.
Step 5
Once rice is completely cooked, remove the bay leaf and mix the rice into the skillet dish. Add in some shredded cheese to taste. Eat as is or with tortillas.
