Step 1
Preheat oven to 200c / 180c fan. Line a baking tray with baking paper
Step 2
Ads flour, baking powder, salt and butter to a mixing bowl and rub together into 'breadcrumbs'
Step 3
Stir through sultanas (or mixed fruit) and sugar
Step 4
Make a well and add some of the milk, draw the mix together. Keep adding a little more and drawing together until you get to fairly firm but not sticky dough.
Step 5
Divide in half, then again, then again to get 8 balls, approx the same size. Form them into 1 - 1.5 inch tall cylinders and place on baking tray.
Step 6
Brush the scones with a little milk, then bake for 15 to 17 minutes
