Instructions

Burger sauce

Step 1
To a small bowl add the mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup and pickel juice. Mix until well combined.

Sauteed onions

Step 2
Cut the onion into thin slices. Heat the oil in the pan. Reduce the heat to medium

Add the onions and fry until they are translucent. Season with pepper. Then drizzle on the honey and let the onions caramelize for about 2min., stirring occasionally.

Burger patties

Step 4
Form the meat into 2 equal balls.
Step 5
Heat the oil in the pan. Leave the heat on medium high.

Add the meatballs to the pan and press down for about one minute. Season with salt and pepper. Then flip around.

Again season with salt and pepper. Place the emmental cheese on top of one patty. Stack the other one on top.

Place the cheddar cheese on the top patty and let it melt for another minute.

Burger

Step 9
Cut the burger bun in half and toast until golden brown.
Step 10
Slice the tomato.
Step 11
Spread the bottom half of the burger bun with the sauce. Place the salad and tomato on top.

Now add the burger patties.
Step 13
Finish with the sautted onions.
Step 14
Stack the other burger bun half on top and enjoy!
