Instructions
Step 1
Slice ribeye and onions thin.
Step 2
Combine soy sauce, calamansi juice and oyster sauce in a bowl and mix together thoroughly.
Step 3
In a pan toast the roll with some butter, then set aside.
Step 4
Add a little more butter to the pan if needed, and cook the onions until slightly translucent. Push the onions to one side of the pan.
Step 5
Add steak to the pan and season with some pepper. Once the steak starts to get some color, mix the onions in. Add soy sauce mixture and cook till steak absorbs the sauce.
Step 6
Place the roll on top of parchment. Add 2 slices of American cheese to the middle of the roll. Place steak over the cheese. Cut the last slice of cheese in half and place on top of steak. Roll the parchment around the sandwich and let sit for 2 minutes. This step helps the cheese melt, and warm the sandwich. Once the 2 minutes is up, unroll the parchment and enjoy your sandwich.
