Instructions
Step 1
Trim the fat from the steak and slice against the grain into thin slices
Step 2
Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Add the onion and pepper with a pinch of salt. Cook for 20 mins until golden and soft
Step 3
Set the onions and peppers aside. Slice you roll in half and toast in the pan.
Step 4
Add some more oil to the pan and over a high heat fry 1/4 of the steak
Step 5
Fry for 3-5 minutes until the steak some of the steak is cooked through and some is still a bit pink
Step 6
Add 1/4 of the onion and pepper mix onto the steak and cover with two slices of cheese
Step 7
Turn the heat down and leave until the cheese has melted
Step 8
Scoop the melted cheese and steak mixture into one of the rolls. Serve with mustard and ketchup on top
