Ingredients

1.5 lbsflank steak
thinly sliced against the grain, Note: can place in freezer for 15 min to make slicing easier

½ tspSea salt

black pepper
fresh ground

1 tablespooncoconut aminos

2 teaspoonsarrowroot flour
or tapioca

1 tablespoonsolive oil

4 cupsbroccoli florets

3scallions
divided, white part sliced thin & green part sliced into ~0.25 in pieces

6 clovesgarlic
minced or grated

2 teaspoonfresh ginger
grated
Stir Fry Sauce

6 tablespoonscoconut aminos

1 tablespoonsesame oil

6 tablespoonsbroth
or water

1 tablespoonrice vinegar
or apple cider vinegar

2 teaspoonsarrowroot flour
or tapioca flour

Instructions
Step 1
Place the sliced beef in a large bowl or gallon zip bag. Toss with sea salt, black pepper, 1 tbsp. arrowroot starch ad 2 tablespoon coconut aminos. Mix well, cover and allow to marinate at room temperature 15 - 30 minutes.
Step 2
Blanch broccoli until crsip-tender either in microwave (on high ~3-4 min.) or steam on stove top.
Step 3
Combine scallion whites, garlic and ginger.
Step 4
Whisk coconut aminos, sesame oil, broth, rice vinegar and arrowroot flour together.
Step 5
Heat 1 tbsp. oil in large nonstick skillet (12 in.) over high heat until just smoking. Add the beef in a single layer using tongs to break up any clumps. Cook, without stirring, about 2 min., until beef is browned. Stir and continue to cook another 2 min.
Step 6
Add the scallion, garlic and ginger mixture and cook about 1 minute.
Step 7
Whisk the stir fry sauce to combine well. Add sauce and broccoli to skillet. Cover and cook 3-5 min. until broccoli is tender and sauce has thickened.
Step 8
Off heat, garnish with scallion greens and sesame seeds. Serve with cauliflower rice or brown rice.
