Remove all the innards

Turkey Brine
Step 3
Let the turkey sit on the counter for a few hours let it get to room temperature

Let the 3 sticks of butter sit out and come to room temp may zap in microwave for 10 seconds to make it spread able

Combine butter, diced garlic or minced garlic (3 tbsp), chopped parsley, salt, pepper, lemon zest, juice of 2 lemons, olive oil

Spread butter mixture under the turkey skin and on top, additional pepper and salt on all the turkey
Step 7
Stuff the turkey with halved lemons, onions, bay leaves, halved garlic, and rosemary
Step 8
Cook on a braising pan at 425 for about 15 min
Step 9
Add bacon around the top of the turkey
Step 10
Lower the temp and cook the turkey @ 360
Step 11
Baste the turkey every hour, cook apprx 15min/lb of turkey to internal around 165 F
Step 12
Let the turkey rest for at least 2 hrs before cutting
