OMG! I swear this is the best mushroom recipe I've ever tried. The flavors of mushroom, onion, and cheese are so perfectly mixed together. Also, this is a really good choice for an appetizer if you want to prepare a family meal.

Remove stems from mushrooms. Arrange caps in the baking dish. Finely chop stems.

Melt 3 tablespoons butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, and mix in onion and garlic. Cook 5 minutes, or until tender, then mix in spinach, chopped mushroom stems, and milk. Bring milk to a boil.

Remove it from heat and mix in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
