Instructions
Step 1
1. In a bowl, combine the chicken, vinegar, soy sauce, palm sugar, garlic, bay leaves, black pepper, and water.

2. Let that marinade in the fridge for at an hour to overnight.

3. In a pot or pan, heat oil on medium heat and sear the chicken.
Step 4
4. Once the chicken is browned, add the marinade.
Step 5
5. Simmer on low, covered, for 45 minutes making sure to flip the chicken every now and then.
Step 6
6. Reduce the sauce on medium heat until your desired thickness.
Step 7
7. Serve with hot rice and garnish with green onion.
