Ingredients

500 gramswheat grains
hulled, rinsed and soaked overnight and then drained
½ cupsugar
or to taste, can substitute honey
2star anise
1 tablespoonblossom water
1 teaspoonground cinnamon

Step 1
Put the wheat grains in a deep saucepan and immerse it in 2 liters of water, add 2 star anise, cover and bring to a boil over high heat, turn the heat down to a simmer and cook, covered, it may takes around 1-2 hours, it depends on the type of wheat.
Step 2
Add the sugar, blossom water, the optional spiced and stir about 5 minutes to dissolve the sugar.
Step 3
Pour the ready wheat into serving bowls while it’s hot, with a little of their broth, then garnish with sugar and the soaked nuts. (You may add sugar or honey if desired).
