Instructions
Step 1
Cook bacon in a pan over medium heat until the bacon is crisp, about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add beef and pork, season lightly with salt, cook until lightly browned, about 6 minutesāTransfer beef and pork to a medium bowl.
Step 3
Heat the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion to the pot, cook, and stir the onion until it has become translucent. Add the carrot, and cook for about 2 minutes.
Step 4
Return beef and pork to pot and pour in the wine. Cook until wine is evaporated for about 15 minutes.
Step 5
Add bay leaf, nutmeg, and tomato paste. Cook until lightly browned for about 5 minutes.
Step 6
Add tomato, heavy cream, cook, uncovered, for about 3 hours.
Step 7
Toss with cooked pasta, and serve with freshly grated Parmesan.
