Ingredients

1 cupunsalted sweet cream butter
softened
1 cupsugar
4 Tbsplight brown sugar
2eggs

2 ¾ cupsflour
4 Tbspcornstarch
½ tspcream of tartar
1 tspbaking powder
½ tspbaking soda
2 tspcinnamon
½ tspkosher salt
3 Tbspground cinnamon
4 ozcream cheese
softened
½ cupunsalted sweet cream butter
softened
1 tspvanilla
2 cupspowdered sugar
8 ozdulce de leche
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F
Step 1
Line two cookie sheets with a silicone baking mats.
Step 2
Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg, & vanilla until fluffy.
Step 3
In med. bowl, whisk all dry ingredients together; gradually mixing into sugar mixture.
Step 4
Using 1/2 cup scoop (for crumbl-sized cookies), scoop out dough and roll into balls. (1/3 cup for smaller cookies)
Step 5
Using a small bowl, whisk 1 C sugar & 3 T ground cinnamon.
Step 6
Roll cookie dough balls into cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Step 7
Place the cookie dough balls onto the cookie sheet and lightly press dough into a thick disk
Step 8
Bake (10-14 min.) until firm around edge & a light golden color.
Step 9
Cool completely.
Step 10
Beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, & vanilla until creamy, smooth & holds a peak. Scoop the frosting into the piping bag with the round tip.
Step 11
Scoop dulce de leche into a 2nd piping bag; cut the tip off.
Step 12
Using the cream cheese frosting, pipe a wide circular spiral on the top of each cookie.
Step 13
Fill the inside lines of the circle with the dulce de leche.
Step 14
Allow frosting to harden & enjoy.
