6 Orange peppers
6Orange peppers
2 lbsCooked Meat stuffing
use your own or I’ll be posting mine
2 jars Tomato sauce (or homemade)
2 jarsTomato sauce
or homemade
Shredded Mozzarella cheese
shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

Step 1
First start with making sure your pepper sits upright. If not then trim a little of the bottom until it does. Next slice off the top of the pepper (about 1/2 inch down) making sure to keep stem intact. Gently pull out seeds. Turn pepper on its side and cut out triangles for the eyes and an oval for the mouth as if it’s mouth is wide open. Place on pan and airfry at 400° for 5 minutes or boil for 4 minutes or bake at 425° for 10 mins. Remove, let cool and fill with stuffing mixture. Save enough stuffing to be used later and keep it warm. Pour the tomato sauce in the bottom of a large baking dish. Place the peppers on top of the sauce and bake peppers (covered) at 350° for about 30 minutes. Remove from oven, uncover and top with mozzarella. Bake until cheese melts. Place a pepper on plate. Take a spoonful of the extra stuffing and place in on the plate up against the mouth of the jack-o-lantern as if it’s coming out of it’s mouth. Spoon some sauce on top of the head and let it drip down the sides of the face. Place the top (stem part) of the pepper, leaning it, up against the pepper. Enjoy!
