Instructions
Step 1
Place olive oil and butter in 10 inch skillet (so beans are not over crowded) on low/medium heat
Step 2
Add in green beans and cook for about 6-8 minutes, making sure to stir to coat green beans with oil and butter
Step 3
Add shallot and garlic and cook until fragrant being careful not to burn (about 2 minutes while frequently stirring)
Step 4

Add in white beans, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine all ingredients
Step 5
Cook until preferred tenderness of green beans (I like mine with a little crunch still left in them)
Step 6
Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese
Step 7
