8 ouncessmoked sausage
½ cuppearl barley
2 stalkscelery
chopped
1onion
medium, chopped
1 cupcarrots
chopped
1 x 14 ozcan petite diced tomatoes
6 ozcan tomato sauce
32 ozChicken broth
dried oregano
dried basil
dried parsley
3 clovesgarlic
minced
1 tspred pepper flakes
1 tspdried thyme
1bay leaf
salt
to taste
pepper
to taste
1 teaspoonWorcestershire sauce
Instructions
Step 1
Cut smoked sausage into 1/4 inch pieces. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker except barley. Cook on low for 2 hours add barley and cook additional 4-5 hours on low.
