Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Cover brisket with rub and put in pan. Put in over, uncovered for 1 hour.
Step 2
Remove brisket and pour broth until there is about an inch in the bottom of the pan. Cover pan and brisket with tin foil sealing the liquid in. This creates a steam bath.
Step 3
Lower the temperature to 300 and cook for about 5 more hours.
Step 4
Remove oven and shred brisket, place shredded meat in crockpot and covered with juice from the oven pan. Let cook in crockpot for at least 30 minutes. Serve.
