Cheese Tortellini Italian sausage spinach soup

This recipe turned out so perfect and the flavors are amazing! I used tortellini but I think next time I am going to try cheese raviolis instead. You could even make this soup without the pasta for an amazing tomato based soup with some spice. I was able to find all my ingredients at my local target. Enjoy!

Instructions

Step 1
Start by adding your crushed tomatoes and chicken broth until it reaches a boil while heating up add all of your spices
Step 2
While that’s boiling in a separate pan start cooking your Italian sausage
Step 3
Now that your tomatoes, chicken broth and spices are boiling It’s time to add 1 cup heavy cream
Step 4
Add your cheese tortellini, spinach and cooked Italian sausage to the pot and cook until pasta is tender (I let it simmer for 10 minutes)
Step 5
Scoop into bowls, I added Parmesan cheese on top of mine and paired it with grilled cheese. Enjoy!
