Instructions
Step 1
Mix together all ingredients (except chocolate) in a medium sized bowl.
Step 2
Transfer dough to a piece of parchment paper. Fold the parchment in half with the dough in the center.
Step 3
Roll out with a rolling pin until 1/2 inch thick. The shape doesn’t matter.
Step 4
Place trees back in your freezer on a lined cookie sheet so it stays completely flat for 1 hour.
Step 5
Using a tree cookie cutter, cut out as many trees as you can. Place trees on a lined cookie sheet.
Step 6
Place the cut trees back into the freezer for another hour. Let your scraps sit at room temperature until mold-able. Reroll and begin the process again.
Step 7
After the second freeze, melt chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Mix well.
Step 8
Place your frozen trees into the chocolate bowl one side at a time to coat.
Step 9
Place coated trees back onto the lined cookie sheet to let the chocolate set at room temperature.
Step 10
Drizzle with any remaining chocolate if desired.
