My boys LOVED this! In my ward, everyone asked my mom and Grandma Honomichl for this recipe. I’m not sure there is a “real” printed recipe so all measurements are estimates. The secret ingredient is to use frozen corn that was frozen and cut off the cob at home.

Instructions
Step 1
Cook bacon in a saucepan . Remove bacon. Add onion to bacon grease. Cook till translucent.
Step 2
Add flour to make a roux. Add chicken broth. Stir until smooth.
Step 3
Add corn, and potatoes. Simmer until potatoes are cooked through.
Step 4
Crumble bacon and add it back into the soup. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5
Add heavy cream. Warm throughly and serve.
